Amy McNamara’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in LIT Magazine, The Literary Review, Jubilat, Barrow Street, Conduit, Forklift Ohio, Spork, The Laurel Review, and other publications. Her manuscript, Split, was a finalist for the 2005 Beatrice Hawley Award from Alice James Books. Her work was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is a graduate of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. She is a freelance writer and editor in Brooklyn where she lives with her husband and two children.
